The dam

In the morning we get up and head to granny Kay’s and pick up mark and Asha then set off to the dam. We stop at the wee dam and have a snack. Dad took us right to the bottom of the dam wall so Asha could have a drink.

We then go up the steep hill but there are soooo many midges. See the penstalk. We go around the penstalk to the conduit we walk for a while until Asha jumps down a waterfall so Logan gets down to get her up. Me and Ben go around to help him. Ben tries to help by getting the lead but asha comes so Logan tries to get her back but falls over in the water and we get her back. We get to the end and follow the straight rocky path to the dam wall. At the dam we stop for lunch. me Logan Ben and dad go swimming in the water before heading back down the hill. On the way back Mark gets too tired to keep going so we stop at the penstalk and someone comes to pick him up but we keep going and make it back to the village. We chuck Asha in the river for a quick bath then head to granny Kay’s. Mark is super tired but ok
