Meet The Wilsons

Today Mum had to do some stuff by herself so Ben Jackie Logan and Dad decided to go on an adventure. We get in the car and start driving. We go past Glencoe but not too far cause our first stop is Glencoe waterfall. On the way to the waterfall we see a house that Dad swears is on a bag of crisps. We arrive and find a park we walk and there’s this metal fence and on it are a bunch of padlocks with writing on them.

We can see the waterfall it’s pretty Cool but dad says that when it rains it gets really huge. We convinced dad to let us down to the base. We then go back a little and go down a path to the base of the waterfall. We take a few photos and we see this valley we also go under a bridge.

We then go to the top of the waterfall and we see a second smaller waterfall. We take a few photos then go to the car and get on the road again. Dad then explained how the mountains were made and told us about the massacre of Glencoe. We then made it to the Kingshouse hotel. Outside we see some young stags cause we know their young cause their antlers aren’t fully developed.

Dad said they come here a lot cause they put out salt bricks and they like to lick them.We then go inside. Dad says that it’s changed a lot from when he was last here he said that the huge modern hotel section wasn’t there when he was last there and that the roof was lower. Dad decided to order us a few drinks.

Dad got a ginger beer I got an Irn Bru and Ben and Jackie got a coke. We found this cool chair that was like a wheel turned into a bench and after finishing our drinks it’s time to return home. When we went home Dad and Mum decided to go for a walk to an old pier in the village. We invite uncle Martin and Amy to take Noah too and we start walking to the pier. After a while it starts to smell cause of the sewage plant. we make it to the end and see the old pier we don’t go to the other bit of it cause we need to head back to go home.
